I'm always happy to feature a powerful anti-war track by Ukrainian artists. Sergiy (also known as Sergiy Matvyeychenko) has released a single titled "Stop," which serves as a protest song in solidarity with Ukraine. Stop is anthemic, direct and moving.
Sergiy hails from Gorlovka, a city near Donetsk that has been under Russian occupation since 2014. The ongoing conflict in the region has deeply impacted Sergiy, whose parents were unable to flee the area and tragically passed away in 2018 and 2019. Despite having moved to the United States in 2005, Sergiy remains committed to raising awareness about the suffering endured by his homeland and culture.
Show your solidarity and give it a listen.
