Gnostic Rebellion - Discordian Dreams Part 2 (Operation Mindfuck)

I am partial to an ambient track with well crafted voice samples Discordian Dreams Part 2 (Operation Mindfuck) by Gnostic Rebellion fits this bill perfectly and splendidly. Steady hypnotic beats that swirl effortlessly around your head, slowly building in intensity that levitates one into a dreamlike state. After a year of touring and supporting the Orb twice, they have turned their attentions to the studio.   Is the first release from their upcoming album. It promises to be an excellent debut.

“Discrodian Dreams by Gnostic Rebellion is inspired by the Discrodianism absurdist religion and philosophy founded by Kerry Thornley and Greg Hill in 1963. Operation Mindfuck is an important practice for Discordians in which all national calamities, assassinations, or conspiracies are publicly attributed to the Bavarian Illuminati, an 18th century secret society, in an attempt to "sow the culture with paranoia," as well as to highlight the absurdity of conspiracy theories. It was then countered in 1975 by Robert Anton Wilson and Robert Shea, who published "The Illuminatus! Trilogy" based around Discordian themes. They did this to stop the idea of conspiracy theories, by simply showing how outrageous they were. The trilogy covers a wide range of subjects including discussions about mythology, current events, conspiracy theories and counterculture, many of which have, ironically, become part of the mainstream.”
