Looking for an electro song that blends three languages (English, Korean and Chinese) with an Eastern flavor? Look no further than Dyan Tai's rather fun upcoming single, "Intron," set to debut on April 28th, 2023. This track features the experimental stylings of South Korean artist AnSo and was written and produced by Tai, mixed by Wave Racer from Astral People (known for working with Cub Sport, Memphis LK, Ninajirachi), and mastered by Ben Feggans (credited with Flume, Ngairre, Cut Copy). "Intron" refers to the non-coding section of DNA that gets discarded, but Tai has reimagined this concept as a representation of the parts of ourselves that we shed over time, yet still remain an essential aspect of our identity that cannot be erased or denied. Dyan Tai, self-proclaimed Gaysian empress of Sydney, originally made a name for herself on the local cabaret scene but has since evolved into an electronic artist.
