MUSIC RECOMMENDATION: Mononegatives - North Caroline Atomic Bomb

Dropping in like a old school, punk band accidentally stumbling over some long-abandoned, vintage synths and recording the results on a second-hand cassette recorder; this is Mononegatives with North Caroline Atomic Bomb. The production is as rough as sandpaper, but that's the charm. Fuzzy and faux-futuristic, it is like they've time-travelled from the exciting days of post-punk electronica.

The band are from London, Ontario (Canada), but could easily have been from new wave London (UK). Maybe they have been locked in Gary Numan's car since 1978?  Whatever, they certainly have entertained me with this one. It's a blast!

The single is out now on Dowd Records.
