KILL, THE ICON!, an anti-fascist protest punk trio established in London in 2020, has released a new single titled "Protect the Brand” and it is tremendous!
The band's first two singles, "BUDDHIST MONK" and "BOURDAIN," were released in Winter 2021 and received widespread airplay, including on Amazing Radio USA and this latest release is sure to grab as much attention, if not, more.
Throughout 2022, the band toured across the UK, building a devoted following.
Recently, KILL, THE ICON! signed with the boutique Indie label Blaggers Records, and their debut EP, "Your Anger Is Rational," is set to release in May 2023. The band, which arose from protest movements, creates a sonic tapestry by recounting stories about cultural icons throughout history.
In the spirit of London punk icons like The Clash, KILL, THE ICON! gained notoriety during the pandemic. Their music is direct, honest, and aggressive, akin to Death From Above 1979, The Fall, and Dead Kennedys.
