RECOMMEND MUSIC: Juleah - Snake

Snake  from Austria’s Juleah is a wonderful shimmering psychedelic trip back to the 60s with a contemporary feel.  Julia Hummer’s vocals are sweet and seductive and the whole track is like a hazy journey through valleys and poppy fields.

The idyllic, inspiring environment of Austria’s Vorarlberg region is the creative center for Julia Hummer and her band. Three full length albums have been recorded here, sparking an international fan base that is still growing. Juleah is a solo project founded and shaped by Hummer, supported on stage by Henry Galehr on guitar, Christoph Galehr on drums and Oliver Huber on bass.

Juleah has created an unmistakable signature sound over the years, with shimmering guitars and mellow 60’s inspired melodies to bring love to your home and your journey.

Her latest LP, Stoked on Planet Summer, rolls out a path towards blissed-out sunshine psychedelia. As the title suggests, this is the sound of anticipation for an upcoming journey. The wonderful thing about the songs written by Juleah is the way they evoke a hint of romance and passion at every possible location.

Hummer’s music reflects a translucent dream, allowing for an intense trip that curves through vast desert and mountain landscapes, via undulating prairies to cordially find a place to enjoy. The unique sound of Juleah takes you on this journey; it does not let go of your hand or heart until you surrender yourself to the atmospheric, uninhibited indulgence of your endless dreams. Her music cannot simply be categorized in a genre, Juleah has created a niche for herself where lovers of Americana, Psychedelic and Surf Rock can easily find their groove.
