Lisova and Silent Thirst are an electronic duo from Kyiv, Ukraine and this is their latest recording Separation. The piece "explores the notion of 'limbo', an uncertain period of awaiting, being in a state of obscurity".
Apart from being a gloriously bold blast of noise, I find it even more remarkable that it has arrived during such a dark period for the people involved in the production. There's something almost uplifting about the recording, not just the actual audio, but also that the artistic spirit lives on in the face of such circumstances.

They say about themselves "Oleg from Silent Thirst is behind the production, while guitars and vocals are Vira’s domain. The arrangement and the sound concept are the results of collaborative work. Vira is also a guitarist and singer of the Ukrainian dream pop girl band Milktuth. Oleg has a solo project and works with local artists as a producer".
Let's celebrate the unyielding determination of the artists.
