From Pennsylvania (USA), here's Grocer with Downtown Side, a lively but poignant indie song about a medical condition called 'Vasovagal Syncope'. The guitarist/vocalist in the band, Nicholas Rahn, suffers from this condition and certain triggers cause him to abruptly faint. That sounds pretty horrendous and the added irony is that, as he explains "the anxiety of this occurring creates a second fear where I worry that at any given point in time, I am actually unconscious and simply experiencing a lifelike dream".
Anyway, the tune is a decent one, apart from the alt rock styling there's quirky percussion, whistles and a general feeling from the band that this bizarre condition is not that funny. Please give it a whirl.
