A nice touch of emo for your delectation. 'New Best Friend' from Portland, Oregon trio 'Swiss Army Wife' is melodic, sincere with a good bit of edge (as you would expect from a Swiss Army knife/wife). A song about the impact of poverty on love and self-destructive tendencies, combining the charm of power-pop with the crushing desperation emo and hardcore, it is a song to be enjoyed even if usually you are not a big emo fan.
