Usually, I'm not so crazy about live recordings. It is never the same not having the feeling of the PA thumping your chest in the knowledge your hearing is probably being permanently damaged. However, in the case of 'We Take Form' from the USA's 'Some Kind of Nightmare' I am more than happy to make an exception. The raw power and energy not only bypasses the impurities of a live recording, it turns the impurities into a positive. "The song embodies the struggle of healing from body dysmorphia and my pain after dealing with breast cancer and the scars inside and out from a double mastectomy and chemotherapy. "
So, crank up the volume, stand in front of your speakers and piss off the neighbours.
