In 1999, my band valiantly battled for the Christmas #1 in the UK singles chart, as such, I know quite a bit about what makes a good festive song....and what doesn't. Fa La La by Kittenhead hits the mark from the off, it is unlikely to reach the top of the charts, but that's not the point. Raucous with a clever chorus, the pop-punk track is a joy for all this season, both catchy and edgy...like holly. Kittenhead deserve a round of applause, maybe even a round of drinks?
