Poppin‘ from Manchester’s ‘Dutch Uncles’ is splendidly quirky, jerky and very perky. Imagine the illegitimate love child of Talking Heads and Sparks and this would probably be the result. Infectious bass patterns and androgynous vocals with a hint of the surreal. “Read my muppet lips” you will enjoy this song.
