I always enjoy a well-constructed, alternative rock tune and that's what you get with AP Tobler's Solemn Farewell. The concise intro serves as a quick throat-clearer before the real business of the song gets underway, a guitar-driven stomper with a very natural flow and enjoyably melodic feel. A little gem of a song.
AP Tobler is a self-described "grunge poet" and utilizes heavy riffs to tackle complex experiences like anxiety and depression. Solemn Farewell is taken from the Alternate Vision EP.
