This is rare, a comedy song that actually made me laugh. That's probably not happened since 'Ernie (The Fastest Milkman In The West)'. If I'm honest, I did laugh when I first heard Robbie Williams "rapping" on 'Rock DJ' but then my Great Aunt Mabel told me it was not meant as a comedy song?
Anyway, this is Offbeat with a comedy hip hop song called I Think My Girlfriend Is A Serial Killer, a tale based around the recent phenomenon of women seemingly having an unhealthy obsession with True Crime documentaries. The words are brilliant, the video is terrific and most importantly, the song doesn't just rely on the comedy, it has a decent tune. Just like 'Ernie'. Killer!
