Canada's MDK has created Cryptofunk, a 5-minute barnstormer of a track. I'm not exactly sure what genre this is, but to me it sounds like 'coin-operated electro glitch' (yep, I just invented that). Something akin to the sound of a malfunctioning, old arcade game being thumped by a disco mirror wrecking ball. Bonkers and funky, it will probably annoy a lot of the purists, but I expect MDK's name will be up there in the hall of fame.
