Well, it's that time of year for Christmas songs. Nobody does Christmas better than the Scandinavians (for obvious reasons), so it is apt that this song comes from Denmark. 'Christmas Night' from 'Josa Barck" ticks all the best Christmas song boxes. It has a warm festive feel, more than a dash of melancholy and a nod to hope and peace. It also has a slightly quirky feeling that makes it stand out. The stop motion animation video complements the song perfectly. Warm but slightly surreal.
