Taken from the soundtrack for the upcoming Mark Mylod-directed film 'The Menu', this is Colin Stetson’s Nature Is Timeless. The instrumental piece glides delightfully with a dark backdrop, whilst a wash of brassier tones, ebbs and flows to the surface. The overall feel is mysterious and shadowy.
The soundtrack features music crafted by a variety of woodwind and natural instruments, furthering his stylistic stamp previously seen in his scores for Hereditary, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Color Out of Space and Red Dead Redemption 2.
Over the years, Colin Stetson has worked with a diverse range of acts, including Tom Waits, Lou Reed, Arcade Fire, Bon Iver, LCD Soundsystem, TV On The Radio, Feist, Laurie Anderson, Lou Reed, Bill Laswell, Evan Parker, The Chemical Brothers, Animal Collective, Hamid Drake, Angelique Kidjo, Fink, and David Gilmore and The National.
The soundtrack is out November 18th via Milan Records, the same day the film is released.
