Taken from Play Dead's new EP, Mug Cake, this is Away From Here. A concise chunk of contemporary punk intensity with an almost gothic sensibility in the bass/guitar interplay. That really appealed to me, as it just makes it more interesting than your average shouty cockney-punk strum-along. The EP covers that side a bit more, no problem with that, but there's also a hint of flange and all sorts to keep it a little more varied.
