Here's an interesting track from the UK's Mutant Thoughts called 'Planet B'. To my ears, it has a rather punchy and characterful sound, augmented by a strongly developed backstory.
To quote the band "Planet B is a story about humans living in the future in Mars after having colonised it, and they in turn get colonised again by humans from Earth, and go to war over our perceptual differences.
The song implies that we have a tendency to be violent towards what we don't know, and tries to evoque connection where tolerance is not enough.
It also references wars amongst people who share a lot in common, yet they see small differences as a reason to exterminate each other. The Chorus depicts a refugee who has had to leave their home country and seek refuge in a new unknown place."
Anyway, it is a terrific song and the artwork is great, too!
